MySynchrony: Go GE Capital Bill Payment

GE Capital is a part of the global conglomerate General Electric. It offers a wide range of lending and credit options for both consumer and commercial customers. GE Capital (mysynchrony.com) is headquartered in Norwalk, Connecticut.

You can pay your GE Capital bills through the internet. You will need to register an account through this link  in order to pay online. You will need to submit your customer account number, last 4 digits of your social security number and your date of birth during registration. Once you are enrolled, login to your account and select the “Payments” option under “Quick Links”. Next, select the payment amount, the date of payment and the source of payment. Click “Submit Payment For Review” and finally click the “Submit” button to complete your payment process. You will receive a confirmation number. Note this down since you can refer it in case of any disputes in the future.  Same day payments can be made until 11:59 PM ET.

You can also schedule multiple payments for up to 12 months in advance. To do so, login to your account and navigate to the payments section.  Next, elect the “Multiple” tab and schedule 12 payments. Click “Submit Payment For Review” and subsequently the “Submit” button to complete your payment.

Once you set up the Auto Pay option, your monthly bills will be automatically paid off from your payment source on the due date. The difference between Auto Pay and Schedule Payments is that there is no restriction as to how long you can automatically pay your bills. You can enroll in Auto Pay from your online account.

For those who are not comfortable with online payments, you can pay your bills through phone. To do so, just call the number at the back of your credit card. You may be charged a convenience fee for this payment service.  This is also the fastest way to pay your bills when you do not have internet access.

If you wish to pay by mail, send in your payments to the following address – GE Capital, PO Box 960061, Orlando, Florida (ZipcCde: 32896-0061). Remember to reference your account details when sending the payments. If you are paying through check, ensure that your bank account has sufficient funds. If the check bounces, then you may be charged a penalty for the returned check.

If you do not pay your bills on time, you will be charged a late payment fee. So, if you think that you may not be able to pay your bill on time, it is better to call the company and enquire for a due date extension.
