The site allows you to log on at anytime to check the status of your mortgage, and view and electronically sign important documents to do with your loan. The site is operated by PHH Mortgage, one of the top ten originators of retail residential mortgages in the United States.
Logging into a Mortgage Loan Status account
If you already have a Mortgage Loan Status account, logging in is simple. Visit the company’s homepage: www.mortgageloanstatus.com/login. In the pale blue boxes at the right of the page, enter your username and password in the spaces indicated. This will take you to your Mortgage Loan Status account.
If you have lost your username, password, or forgotten the answer to your security question, the information can be easily retrieved. Simply visit the log in help page: www.mortgageloanstatus.com. You will see three options with check boxes. – Username, Password, Security Question. Tick the box for any information you have forgot. You can select as many of the boxes as you like, meaning there is a solution even if you have lost all of your information.
Now enter your first name, last name and the email address the account is registered to in the appropriate boxes. Next click submit. You should receive an email with your new login data.
Registration with Mortgage Loan Status
To register with Mortgage Loan Status, you will need to fill in and submit this form: https://www.mortgageloanstatus.com/Register. To fill in the form you will need to supply all of the following information:
- Your First Name
- Your Last Name
- Your Social Security Number
- The Lead or Loan number for the loan you want to monitor
You will then need to create a username. Your username must be at least six characters long and have no spaces. You can use either numbers or letters.
Next you must create a password. This must be between seven and fourteen characters long. You can not use any repeating characters. The password field is case sensitive.
Finally you must submit a functioning email address. This will be used for confirming your account and also in the event that you cannot login to the website.
