CarMax make bill payment easy by offering several payment options. All options will take 1-2 business days to reflect on your account.
MyCarMax
Setting up a MyCarMax account not only helps you find your perfect car, you can also make payments, view your account information and update your personal information anytime. You can register to MyCarMax here if not registered or sign in here (if already registered with carMax) to make a one time payment or a recurring payment, partial payments are also possible as long as the full payment is made by the monthly due date.
CarMax on the go
CarMax now has a mobile site and a mobile app where you can make one time or recurring payments. The mobile app is available for free on the App Store and Google Play, it is not available yet for Blackberry or Windows phones however the mobile site is accessible through any smart phone’s browser.
Payment by phone
You may call (800) 925-3612 to make one time payments by phone on an automated system where a confirmation number will be provided after the payment is made successfully.
Payments by mail
Payments by mail should be sent 7-10 business days prior to the due date to ensure that your payment will be received on time. You can mail your payments to this address:

Western Union
Payments are accepted at any Western Union location and sent to CarMax, fees for Western Union payments will be paid by the customer. You can call (800) 238-5772 to find a branch near you. Make sure your account number is included for proper posting. Payments are usually reflected on your account within one business day, business days are Monday to Friday.
MoneyGrams ExpressPayments service
Any MoneyGram retail agent will send your payments to CarMax, you can call 1-800-MoneyGram to find a branch near you. Once you are at a MoneyGram outlet, provide the customer support agent with a Receive Code “4645”, company name “CarMax”, city “Kennesaw”, state “GA” and include your account number for proper posting. Payment will reflect on your account within 1 business day, business days are Monday to Friday.
